This t-shirt is in answer to Jenny Holzer's famous t-shirt slogan "Abuse of Power Comes as no Surprise." While the original slogan is defanged and mystified, "Power is Abuse" clarifies and adds claws to spread the message that the hierarchical system itself is working just fine. The slogan "Power is Abuse" is intended to simultaneously deflate hierarchies and declare with strength and certainty that power, in any circumstance, in any relationship, is abuse. #powerisabuse
